Revelation 20:12-13

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

The sea is giving up the dead, what is the basis of the judgment?  First of all, what it occurring is described in the parable of the Sheep and the Goats.

These are being judged on the basis of the Bible and what they have done during this time period.  That is why it states their works.  When Yeshua returns it will no longer be of faith, but of sight.  Although, works are an out growth of salvation in this time period.  In the millennium, one must observe what is written.

When it states that the books are opened, this is the opening of the 7th Seal, Revelation 8:1

1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

There is silence, because for the first time the Bible becomes an open book.  For so many up until this time, the Bible has been a closed book.  Mainly because, many refuse to walk in the word of God.  Yeshua stated in John 8:31-32.

31 Then said Yeshua to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

So many are told that the truth will set them free.  However, that is only if; one meets the conditions that are set prior.  First, one must believe on Him.  That is to put their faith totally in Him.  Then one must continue in the word.  They must do as the word states.  If one does this, they are a disciple.  It is those that practice this will know the truth.  This is what leads to being set free of the burdens of this life.  It has always been a teaching of the Bible, do and understand.  Yeshua teaches this consistently through the gospels.

Works and faith are to be a part of every believer.  James described this in James 2:17-18.

17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Works should be a natural out growth of faith.  Thereby, leading an individual to being set free.  In the millennium, this will be even more true.  As salvation for those of the nations will not be given until the end of the millennium.

In the millennium when all the books are opened, for many it will the first realization that it was always one book.  So many have divide the Bible and made portions of noneffect.  This will all change, because it was always meant to be one book.  When it is all together as one book, then it will be known that the Bible is the book of life.

There is no book with names written in it.  One will be compared to the Bible.  If their life is equivalent to that of the Bible, they will find eternal life.
