This Bible discussion answers the question, why did God create man? This is a question that all believers should have a sound biblical answer. Unfortunately, the answers often provided for this question make God out to be cruel or void of any logic or compassion. When we give answers to questions that do not line up with scriptures, then we are doing God a great disservice and committing of the error of Romans 1:23.
23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
We change God to conform to our image rather than conforming to God’s incorruptible image. There is a real answer to this question that glorifies God, 1 Peter 3:15.
15But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
Therefore, we ought to have an answer to why God created man. It ought to be an answer that makes sense, glorifies God and reflects the true character of God. Finally, it should fulfill the words of 1 Thessalonians 4:18.
18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
